Unusual Studio Pottery Stylized Elephant Figure
About the Item
An unusual studio pottery stylized figure of an elephant dating from the latter 20th Century. This delightful and stylish figure is cast in solid clay the feet formed as two joined round bases with large hanging trumpet shaped ears with the stylized head applied with two unglazed eyes and extending into a curled trunk. The figure is decorated in metallic grey glazes over a white ground and is not marked.
A wonderful display piece in good condition.
