A vintage Northern Thai double ram black painted sculpture from the mid-20th century, with elegant antlers, green glass jewelry motifs and red accents. Found in Northern Thailand, this horizontal sculpture from the Midcentury period features two black painted rams depicted back to back, accented with gilt and jewelry motifs. Boasting a dignified expression, the rams present large scrolling antlers. Their black painted coat is perfectly contrasted with red touches, while the ornate gilt collar with scrolling patterns and green glass jewelry-themed inlay completes the ensemble beautifully. With its unusual subject, skillful depiction and complimenting colors, this Northern Thai double ram sculpture from the mid 20th century will make for an exotic addition to any home decor, perhaps displayed atop a console table or enfilade.
