About

Large ceramic sculpture titled "Funnel" by Pittsburgh ceramic artist and gallerist Elvira Peake. A part of Pittsburgh's craft scene for sixty years, Peake operated The Clay Place for thirty years, showcasing work by potters such as Robert Turner, Karen Karnes, Warren Mackenzie, David Shaner, and Toshiko Takaezu. "Funnel" was shown at the 2002 Society of Sculptors exhibition in Pittsburgh (image attached). Resting a bit kinetically on its side, "Funnel" makes for an interesting centerpiece.
