Eight Foot Long Browning Automatic Rifle Model
About the Item
This device was made to demonstrate the complete cycle of performance of the operational piece. This included loading and unloading; extraction and ejection of simulated cartridges; action of hammer, trigger, safety, clip latch, change lever and sear; movement of gas piston, and operation of buffer spring. It does not involve sighting or firing. There is no detonation and no powder explosion to create pressure in the gas cylinder.
The model has been featured in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Times as well as Departures and Auberge Magazines.
