1900s French Barbotine Majolica Mourning Flowers, Rose Violet Peony Carnation

About the Item

Set of twenty four hand made and hand painted barbotine majolica ceramic early 1900s so called mourning flowers. In this set you find: Roses, violets, anjers, carnations, peony's and chrysanthemums All a little different than the other in shape size and all colours, red, pink, lilac, yellow. . We hung them in a decorative pattern on a strung wire. But you could display them any way you like with hooks on a wall or arranged in a wide bowl. Most of them have little iron stems or a piece of wire, but not all. Largest: 11x11x5cm the smallest 5x5x4cm All of them suffered minor chip or flea bite losses in the last 120 years or so. Some of them more than others but they all still look fantastic. 2 flowers got a little paint on chipped spots.
