About the Item
This is a very intense lost wax bronze, and then hand painted, cast in the 1998, by the Italian artist Marco Cornini.
The title is "Attesa" translated in "Waiting".
The meaning title is a positive thinking ìabout the emotions filled by the woman, that she looks sad and absent.
Marco Cornini was born in 1966 in Milano, Italy. He studied at the Brera School of Art and began to exhibit when he was young in 1988 in Italy and abroad.
He exhibited twice at the Biennial Art of Venice, the 50th Edition in 2003 and the 54th Edition in 2011. Now it is Marina di Pietrasanta, Tuscany, Italy, based and his artworks are present in some of important art collection, such as Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Torino, Italy and exhibited in Palazzo Te, Mantova into the collection curated by Vittorio Sgarbi.
