Antique Art Deco Bronze Lesbian Art LGBTQ Heinrich Karl Scholz Austrian 1919

About the Item

This beautiful, warm and loving bronze depicts 2 women embracing. One is dressed very formal and dashing while her partner is nude. The style and especially the faces are pure art deco. The bronze still has the rich gilt finish with small areas that have silver finish. Dated 1919 and signed "Scholz". Heinrich Karl Scholz (1880-1937) was Austrian and a famed sculptor who won medals. One can spot the quality and modern look he achieved on this unusual bronze sculpture.
