About the Item
Surrealist imaginary architectural tower build in red baking clay by Dutch artist Arie Bouter, Gouda 1995 (B. 1942) is carefully hand sculpted. The sculpture is based on medieval European architecture and has a strong resemblance with Mont St. Michel in France, the Tower of Babel but also is in the style to M. C. Escher's drawing 'Relativity' with infinite staircases.
