About the Item

Art Deco bronze bookends of Chinese children playing by M. White, England, 1920. A pair of bronze bookends with Chinese children playing, one is playing with a ball the other is hidding. By Mabel White. English sculptress. Worked in London. Pupil of O. Waldmann. Exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1898 onwards. Bronze with multi-color patina on marble base. Good original condition, some age wear on the patina, see pictures.
