Art Deco Pair of 'Folies Bergeres' Wall Plaques

About the Item

This is a super rare opportunity to acquire a pair of these beautifully reduced versions of the facade bas-relief of the Folies-Bergères cabaret. One time designer, Pico who created the central dancing lady facade over the entrance to the Folies Bergères building in Paris in 1926. This listing is for the matching side panel plaques only, which are a limited number of 50 - I only have a handful left. Once these are gone, that's it. The artist who created these is a Parisian gentleman, recently retired as of last year who worked for 40 years to all the major Paris museums as an art restorer, so the credentials are excellent. Made from plaster and with hand applied gold gilding/spray. Hooking eyelets are on the back, so securely hung.
