Franz Peleschka bronze sculpture Origin Austria Circa 1900 The condition of the bronzes is excellent, its base has been restored by a professional. Patina raised It is signed on its base Franz Peleschka, also Franz Friedrich Peleschka-Lunard, (born August 7, 1873 in Vienna; died after 1910) was an Austrian sculptor. Peleschka came from “a modest, middle-class background”] and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where he was a student of Edmund von Hellmer. He worked temporarily in Berlin. His alabaster, bronze and ivory figures were created after 1900 in the Art Deco style. He was a member of the Reich Association of Visual Artists in Germany
