French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Patinated Bronze
About the Item
A wonderful French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated bronze. The bronze is raised on a square ormolu base with concave corners. Two nude bathing maidens frolic in the waves with two exuberant cherubs. The maidens hair flowing in the breeze and one cherub seemingly floating in the air. Finely executed with wonderful details throughout. All original patina throughout.
