French 19th Century Patinated Bronze Statue Of A Woman And Child Signed Stella
About the Item
A wonderful and unique French 19th century patinated Bronze statue of a woman and child signed Stella. This finely detailed statue depicts a beautiful woman dressed in flowing garments while holding a scythe and rinsing the collected wheat with an urn. Beside her is a winged cherub wearing a satchel and assisting in the collection and cleaning of the wheat. Both figures stand aside a exceptionally decorated Art Nouveau st. patinated Bronze pedestal above the square base displaying the signature. All original patina throughout.
