Sculptural reproduction in vitrified stone and reinforced plaster . Copy of "Seated Manly Portrait," by Vittorio Alfieri, made by Pompeo Marchesi (ca. 1840). Signature on the base "Ariodante Botta di ce..." It features a corner repaired in gold leaf. (see photo). Very heavy sculpture.
