Georges Oudot French Artist Terracotta Sculpture, 1958, Seated Female Figure

About the Item

Terracotta sculpture by French artist Georges Oudot (1928-2004). Bears his signature “Oudot” and the date ‘58. Beautiful work depicting a seated female with covered head. Measures: 11 1/2" height x 5 1/2" width x 4"deep. In excellent condition with no damage. Oudot was born in France in 1928 and attended the Besancon School of Fine Arts. In 1946 he joined the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. His works are seen in many important museums and private collections all-over the world.
