German 19th Century Bronze Signed and Dated Moser 1851 with a Verdigris Patina

About the Item

A handsome German 19th century bronze signed and dated Moser 1851 with a verdigris patina. The bronze is raised by a circular moulded base decorated with a detailed fishing net and fish amidst a shell and foliate design. The attractive mermaid (Melusine) with two tails embraces a fisherman who is wearing a hat atop of his long hair. All original patina, wonderful proportions and details throughout.
