Green Georges Jouve crucifix

About the Item

Georges Jouve's Crucifix in green glazed earthenware is adorned with an inscription at the top, bearing the letters 'INRI'. The artist left his mark on the piece through an incised cipher on the verso, noting that there is a slight firing crack on a section of the enamel (see picture).
