A stunning Italian 19th century white Carrara marble statue. The figure depicts a Neapolitan dancer playing a the tambourine with grapevine in his hair. The naturalistic base is signed 'G Cigoli Roma 1873'. The statue is wonderfully executed with fine attention to detail throughout.
