Italian modern red ceramic Dondolo sculpture vase by Florio Pac Paccagnella 2023
About the Item
Sculpture entitled Dondolo, in bright orange red painted ceramic with a matt finish. The subject of the sculpture is geometric and rounded at the base. The sculpture can also be used as a vase as it has a square hole in the upper part.
Produced and designed by Florio Paccagnella, aka Pac, in approx. 2023. Belonging to the Forme di Florio series, with the artist's signature on the disc and hand signed under the base.
Good condition, some chips.
Measurements in cm 26x26x24h
The Pac's path starts from Brera, where he graduated and where he was discovered by Matteo Thun. In the early 1970s he began working with Sottsass and the Memphis group. After a few years he leaves to find his way and settles in Budapest.
Today his ceramics are scattered around the world in private collections. The Forme di Florio series was born from the artist's need to work with material.
