An elegant and vibrant figurative glass sculpture with a unique ombre effect of aqua to green to a golden color titled “Eléonore” designed by Jean-Philippe Richard for the studio of Daum France. Etched signature on bottom from Daum and Jean-Philippe Richard. Annotation 125/425. Made with pâte de verre (crystal paste). Produced circa 1990s. A slender tall female form that is timeless. Jean-Phillip Richard explores the female figure, yet he is known to explore a non-realistic form. Daum, Richard’s works are delicate, gentle, and slender. These women stand out by their sensual and svelte shapes. Gentle creatures, classical beauties, Jean-Philippe Richard’s women hold a secret: a duality in his work, a feminine eternity, and a contemporary attitude. From a private collection.
