Joseph Landais French Palissy Majolica wall platter which features a pike, various other fish and an eel. Blue decorative border around edges. Coloration: cream, blue, brown, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Joseph Landais pottery.

  • Condition:
    Wear consistent with age and use. Very Good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the blue border; shrinkage crack to pike's tail; shrinkage crack around well of dish, only present on front; some roughly potted patches around the rim.
