Beautiful antique sculpture by the french artist Édouard Drouot (* 3. April 1859, Sommevoire, France - 22. Mai 1945, Paris, France). Beautifully crafted and gilded bronze on a marble base. Signed on the backside of the cape "Drouot". Depicted is an athlete in appropriate robe with a discus in his hand. .
