Size: height 25.0 cm (= 9.84 inches) width 20.0 cm (= 7.87 inches) depth 12.5 cm (= 4.92 inches) Manufactory: Meissen Hallmarked: Blue Meissen Sword Mark (underglazed) First quality Model number W 115 / painter's number 54 / former's number 122 Dating: made circa 1905-10 Material: porcelain, glossy finish, multicolored painted Technique: handmade porcelain Style: Art Nouveau Designer: Theodore Eichler (1868 - 1946) This Model (W 115) Was Created In Year 1905. The Sculptor was active for Meissen Manufactory since 1903; He Studied At Academy Of Arts At Dresden (Germany) / During Period of 1906-1907 Sojourns at Paris for Studies Of Beaux Arts. Theodore Eichler Had A Studio Of One's Own, Too / The Artist Retired from Activity for Meissen Manufactory in 1928. Specifications: It is a lovely group of three girls playing hide and seek (this play is called 'Blinde Kuh' in German): The child with the blindfold has to try to catch the other children ... There is the girl to whom the blindfold has just been taken off by her girl friend situated left from her / her second comrade stands right of her - she is going to embrace her friend, looking at her face...
