Biography
Sculptor and ceramist Renato Bassoli was born in Milan in 1915 where he attended the Brera Academy and the Applied Art courses held at the Sforzesco Castle.
In the early fifties he opened a ceramic studio where he created monotypes of informal and primitivist inspiration alongside figurative works, created in small series.
Renato Bassoli died in Milan in 1982.
Some art ceramics produced by Renato Bassoli are marked with a B and three dots imprinted in the paste.
