Elegant pair of antique French Ormolu and marble storm lamps
We date these to circa 1880 and the quality to the pair is superb
Please note - the glass is clear not green as in the photos, there was a green backdrop which shone through
The ormolu cast cherubs are very well cast with a great patina Of course, they are called storm lamps as the flame can stay alight even in high winds
We bought these from a dealer on Marche Biron at Paris antiques markets
These are a great pair for interior designers as the look is very high end
Offered in great shape ready for home use right away
