This 19th century Grand Tour bronze depicts the Roman poet Virgil in contemplation and is after the sculptor Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse. Note: The sculpture is separate from the base. Note: The base is marble with a painted band in antique gold. Note: Dimensions of the base are 1.25" height x 13" width x 7" depth Note: Dimensions of the sculpture are 12" height x 11.63" width x 5" depth.
