Vienna Secessionist Silvered Bronze Young Woman w/Crown Holding 2 Lights
About the Item
The Vienna Secessionist movement produced some of the desirable artistic creations ever made. Many notable artists such as Gustave Klimt were part of the school of art. In sculpture Charles Korschann was part of that school. Our own home is full of ceiling lights and other examples of this art. We cannot state with certainty who created this, but we do guarantee its authenticity with regard to age and style. Looking at the sculpture we see her in a simple pose with a crown on her head. She almost resembles Miss Liberty. The base of the sculpture is pure secessionist in style, and the poles she holds lead up to 2 lights. A nice touch. A special example of a highly regarded art movement.
