Italian Molded and Carved White Marble Group : The education of children

About the Item

This sculpture is of rare beauty, a mixture of finely carved white marble and part in cast and chiseled bronze with a brown patina. The theme is presented as the love of parents towards their child. What could be more beautiful than to attend the first years of your child who is growing slowly. This is what the sculptor tried to convey through the expression of the faces, through the far-sighted positions of the two parents. This rare sculpture must date from the beginning of the 20th century, it comes from a private collection (known since 1930 in the family). A large sculpture, a real feast for the eyes!.

  • Large Painting Representing "The Adoration Of The Shepherds", Italy 19th
    Located in VERSAILLES, FR
