About The Maker

AMEICO distributes contemporary designs that not only tell a story, but are stories themselves. We offer a highly curated and exciting collection from worldwide leading designers of the 20th and 21st Century who represent the best in creativity and craftsmanship. In other words, we bring ideas to the marketplace. Our products are innovative, classic, and sometimes surprising and span decades and styles: from a Max Bill wall clock, Braun watches, or Michele De Lucchi’s Acquatinta pendant to Carl Merten’s Balance Cups, and Izipizi reading glasses. Person-centric and aesthetic-driven, AMEICO has built strong relationships with designers and clients since 1995, ensuring our goods, as well as our connections, are durable, exemplary, and honest. When you buy from Ameico, you buy from a community of sellers, designers and manufacturers you can trust. AMEICO reanimates past designs and historical reproductions because we believe in reinvestment and resurrection of items that stand the test of time. In fact, in 2012, we purchased 29 Church Street in New Milford, CT, a two-story brick and limestone structure built by Dowling & Bottomley, Co in 1917 for the Southern New England Telephone Company. The historic building is open to the public and to the trade. At AMEICO, we believe your life is made better by good design.
