Her natural body posture, the perfect Klismos chair, the gracefully netted hair, her marvellous hands and feet and finally the perfectly draped robe around her beautiful physique reveal the skills of a master sculptor. All these details combined paint an incredibly serene picture of a classical beauty reading what could very well be a love letter (with the folded envelope resting on her lap). This very fine European antique breathes ancient culture, true beauty and top quality workmanship from days gone by.
