Large French Decorative TOTEM from the 19th Century

About the Item

Large decorative totem from the 19th century. This magnificent piece is unique. This is a very large "clod breaker" roller used in the 1850s on French farms to plow the land. The trunk is in old solid oak with a superb patina embellished with tempered steel pins inserted into the trunk. This unique piece is adorned with a heavy and solid base: an old flour mill from the 19th century) which supports the whole, itself held by a hardened steel base. Weight: about 150 kg. Perfect to be use as a sculptural objet in a modernist house, an hotel or a place dedicated to art, with taste.
