Marble Wall Plaque Of Hermes/Mercury

About the Item

A skilfully and extremely decorative marble plaque wall carving of the Greek God Hermes (the Romans knew him as Mercury). God of trade, wealth, luck, fertility. The son of Zeus and Maia he was also the messenger of the Gods and the mediator between the realm of the dead and the kingdom of the living. The carving is clear and concise with intricate detailing to the facial features, helmet and breastplate. A attractive wall plaque that would grace any room.
