41.32 Gram Amazing Pyrite Specimen From Jowzjan Province, Afghanistan

About the Item

41.32 Gram Amazing Pyrite Specimen From Jowzjan Province, Afghanistan Weight: 41.32 Gram Dimension: 4.4 x 2.3 x 1.9 Cm Origin: Jowzjan Province, Afghanistan Pyrite is found in a wide variety of geological settings, from igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rock to hydrothermal mineral deposits, as well as in coal beds and as a replacement mineral in fossils. Pyrite forms as hot water flows through fractures in subsurface rock. This deposition method allows pyrite to replace other minerals or fossils through pyritization. Also known as Fool's Gold, this brassy, metallic mineral is often mistaken for gold. You can place pyrite in your home to provide protective energies to your space," says Glarner. "If you place it near your front door, it will also attract prosperity, abundance, and good vibes into your home
