Amethyst Cluster Geode Calcite Crystal from Uruguay (11" Tall, 15 lbs.)

About the Item

Natural Calcite on Amethyst cluster from San Eugenio, Artigas Dept., Uruguay. Unusual 7'' elongated rhombic calcite crystal with modified terminations on gem amethyst crystal matrix. The calcite crystal shows fully terminated faces composed of small micro etched faces, with a rich transparent golden yellow core. There a very light micro crystal coating over the calcite which gives its a scintillating sparkle. This piece is in supreme condition and is a top collectable specimen. Measures: 15 lbs, 10 x 7 x 11 inches.
