Bi-Color Amethyst Cathedral Geode with Dark Saturated AAA Purple Amethyst Druzy
About the Item
Rare in many ways, this Amethyst geode brings an aesthetically pleasing formation with its purple amethyst crystals beautifully contrasting against the white quartz, creating a stunning beauty that is further enhanced by the spread of golden goethite needles throughout. A unique natural wonder of art, destined to add beauty to the space where it is displayed.
The interior of the specimen showcases the utmost quality of amethyst druzy. The clean and intact crystals, along with their naturally polished points, allow the vibrant purple color to shine through. And thanks to the perfect natural polishing of the druzy, the entire geode mesmerizes with a dazzling and sparkling allure, capturing and reflecting light in a truly enchanting manner.
The polished borders reveal yet another remarkable characteristic, as the polished Agate forms intricate drawings resembling a sea with islands of basalt. This stunning matrix serves as the foundation for the growth of the amethyst, seamlessly blending golden goethite and purple quartz to create a truly unique and captivating beauty.
Standing nearly 25 inches tall and weighing an impressive 68 pounds, this specimen is often referred to as a Geode Cathedral or Chapel due to its elongated format, resulting from a gas bubble getting trapped in liquid magma (basalt).
Unique in many ways, this geode is a true treasure that deserves a prominent place space. Please take a look at the pictures and video, and don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or specific requests. ??
