Italian Modern Wooden Botanic Model
About the Item
A botanic didactical specimen in the manner of the famous German botanist Robert Brendel.
"In the late 19th century Robert Brendel and his son Reinhold produced beautiful and accurate models of enlarged flowers at Breslau and Berlin".
(University of Aberdeen Zoology Museum).
Botanical model depicting a Banana tree, yellow and green color, made out of wood hand painted.
These models were highly appreciated in universities because of their detail and accuracy to show students the characteristics of various flowers, pistils, petals, corollas, scientific names and species.
Now are being collected for the Wunderkammer, Cabinet of curiosities, but also for a nice and original home decoration.
This specimen, never before on the market, comes from an important private collection.
Every item of our Gallery, upon request, is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Sabrina Egidi official Expert in Italian furniture for the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and for the Rome Civil Courts.
