Natural Botryoidal Hematite from Egremont England

About the Item

Botryoidal Hematite from Egremont, West Cumberland Iron Mining District, Cumbria, England Stalactitic formation of botryoidal black-metallic hematite fully crystalized on all sides. The botryoidal surfaces form a small rib of Hematite with a lovely reddish-brown patina. The hematite formation were called Kidney-Ore by the local miners. Weight: 4.5 lbs, Size: 3.25 x 2 x 2 inches.
