Selenite From Naica Mine

About the Item

120 meters under a mountain in Naica, Mexico, the Cave of Swords has long harbored conditions perfect for the formation of up to two meter long selenite crystals lining the walls like medieval swords. The Cave of Swords is a more recent discovery than the famous, deeper Cave of Crystals in the same Naica mine and has been less heavily plundered, to this day yielding museum quality specimens like this one. This lustrous, astonishingly clear 361 gram Naica selenite is the highest quality selenite you can find: straight out of the ground and ready to illuminate your collection.
