Organic Modern Petrified Wood/ Fossil and Stainless Steel Mounted Sculpture
About the Item
This amazing petrified wood sculpture that is over 100 years old has a custom stainless steel contemporary base. It has been mounted. This fossil/petrified wood is originally from Utah. The base measures 10" w x 9 inches D x 2.75" H. It has an elongated prong which connects the base to the stainless steel vessel which hold the fossil. Having the prong allows the piece to swivels so all perspectives of this gorgeous specimen can be viewed. The fossil alone measures 9 x 12x 11. The entire piece with the base is 13x 13 x 11. It is organic modern. Sorry this is hard to photograph and the images do not do justice to the beauty of this sculpture. The base is contemporary and custom made for this piece. The fossil is very vintage.
