OUROBOROS 11 Ancient alchemists described the symbol ouroboros as “the all is one,” as it depicts a serpent, or in some traditions, a dragon, eating its own tale. In Studio Greytak’s Ouroboros 11, a ring of oil-rubbed bronze surrounds a rare union of quartz, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite, all atop a stunning zebrawood and copper base. Quartz has many varieties, from the water-clear rock crystal to purple amethyst and banded agate.
