Sulfur From Sicily

About the Item

This rare collector's specimen came out of a famous pocket in Sicily in the 1970s and exhibits the large crystals, excellent clarity, and isolation of crystals for which the location is known. These gemmy, fully formed single sulfur crystals grow on a sulfur matrix and exhibit brilliant canary yellow coloring. A fantastic find the likes of which just isn't coming out of the ground anymore. Dimensions: 6-7/8"W x 2"D x 4"H, Weight: 1.56 lb.
