Sourced in just one location on earth – Merelani Hills, Tanzania, near Mt. Kilimanjaro – blue-on its front face and violet from its side angles and most importantly red on the c- axis, So you know it is 100% natural and never heated! tanzanite is one of the rarest and most prized gemstones on the planet. This crystal is translucent from top to bottom with a perfect termination. There is a small patch of white calcite matrix on the side of the crystal to add to its aesthetic. Tanzanite formed approximately 585 million years ago –This piece is tremendous size with beautiful luster. This specimen's is just gorgeous please enjoy the images.
