About the Item
This is an amazing piece of sculpture by the artist James David Berenson titled "Temperance" that bends the harmonious, poetic, spiritual, moral, and philosophical issues that question our being every day. If we didn't have our foundation in life in balance, it will become imbalance. The nude ethereal woman is heavily weighted by a dollar sign extending from her outstretched arms and visa or master cards from her feet. This is a limited edition sculpture, only ten where ever made. It is chrome-plated over bronze. This incredible sculpture is titled and marked A/P (Artist Proof) and signed on the bottom of the marble base. (Not shown) The eloquent worded plaque on a lucite stand is part of this art or sculpture. Art. It is from 1991. We have never seen another one around! In our world today, this meaning of his statement in art form is so current and so important.
This came from a wonderful gallery and art dealer that was respected all-over the country.
This is a very special sculpture and one to elicit conversation.
