A lush flower motif and rich color distinguish this rare perfume bottle by Jacob Petit, celebrated ceramicist and one of the most significant producers of Rococo ornamental wares during the 19th century. Its unique square form is intricately decorated with four panels of hand-painted flowers against a green ground. Resting upon gilt dolphin feet, this objet d'art exemplifies the refined elegance of Petit's porcelain creations. Features blue "J.P." monogram mark Circa 1835 4 1/2” square x 9 1/4” high
