Beautiful Italian bottle from the 1960s, made of Murano worm. Very delicate work of art, with the play of different layers of red and blue colored glass. Very fine vintage condition, with slight traces of age and use throughout (see photos).

Blue Murano glass bottle, made by Carlo Moretti in the 1980s. Measures: Ø cm 8, H cm 21 Carlo Nason, born in Murano in 1935 from one of the oldest glassmaking families on the island, he was a great master glassmaker. He grew up attending the glass masters who work in the family furnace, appropriating the most refined techniques of glass art, demonstrating an innovative and planning attitude that he employed in the field of design, but referring to tradition. In 1925 the Nason Moretti company was founded by the Nasone brothers, specializing in the production of furnishing accessories and tableware, where the mastery of the most refined Murano techniques is integrated with a modern vision and careful chromatic research. In 1955 Umberto Nason created an innovative project of two-tone bowls and glasses that earned him the Compasso d'Oro award. In the 1960s, with the second generation of the family, there was a great development of the company which still maintained its characteristic vocation for experimentation. In the 1980s, he looked at lighting with postmodern reinterpretations of designed lights, with the Carlo Moretti Studio line and the series of collectible goblets and glasses. Since the 1990s, the business has focused on new collections conceived in a modern and design-oriented key. Carlo Moretti of Venice, founded by Carlo in 1958 in Murano, passed to new ownership in 2013, but it is still an important company today due to its constant relationship with design. Murano glass ashtray attributable to Archimedes Seguso from the 60s with geometric figures coloured on white. The ashtray measures H 5cm D 16cm. Archimede Seguso was born in Murano on December 17, 1909. At the age of 11 he began working in the furnace and refined his skill by making eighteenth-century glass. Just over twenty years old he becomes an excellent Master glassmaker, also distinguishing himself with the newly born processing of heavy artistic glass. 'He takes as designers in the family factory ''Seguso Vetri d'Arte'' first Vittorio Zecchin and then Flavio Poli.' Since the 1930s he has been invited to exhibit at the Venice Biennale, where, until 1972, there was the 'Venezia' Pavilion dedicated to Murano glass.
