Limited Edition 7/10 Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Marc Newson Tea Set 1500

About the Item

A limited edition Georg Jensen sterling silver tea set, #1500 designed my Marc Newson in 2014. A five piece hand-hammered tea set made by hand at the Georg Jensen silver smithy in Frederiksberg, Denmark. There were only 10 editions of the set made for the retail market, this is set #7 and is marked underneath 7/10. The edge of the tray and the bases of the tea and coffee pots are wrapped in rattan, and handles that extend out from the side of the pots are made from “responsibly sourced” mammoth tusk. A half moon cutout on the top of the pots houses a sliding lid, moved by a small pill-shaped handle. This set is new & unused. To the best of our knowledge this is the only set left on the open market. This set comes from our own collection and was acquired by Greg Pepin when he left the Georg Jensen company in 2016. ?Item number: 3522210 ?Materials: Sterling Silver, Mammoth tusk, Rattan ?Measurements: Tray: L: 517 mm W: 317 mm H: 26 mm Teapot: L (with the handle): 251 mm W: 158 mm H: 114 mm Coffee pot: L (with the handle): 252 mm W: 159 mm H: 144 mm Sugar bowl: W: 97 mm H: 60 mm Creamer: L (with the handle): 121 mm W: 100 mm H: 60 mm. ?Design Year 2014 This set is #7 of 10 made and hallmarked accordingly.
