Venetian Scent Bottles, Late 19th Century Attributed to Artistica Barovier

About the Item

Four Chatelaine Venetian Scent Bottles circa 1870-1890 blown glass made by the late 19th Century glass masters of Murano. The three smallest are internally decorated with gold powders and two of them have gilt metal mounts. One of the mount is decorated with deep blue faceted glass beads. They are attributed to Artistica Barovier (1919-1936). Individual lengths 4 1/2 in (11 cm); 3 1/2 in (9 cm); 3 in (7.5 cm) The larger scent bottle date circa 1890 is internally decorated with aventurine, applied blown glass and gilt metal mount. Height 3 in (7.5 cm); diameter 3 1/2 in (9 cm)
