Emerald Green Bohemian Glass and Crystal Lusters Pair, circa 19th c
About the Item
A very beautiful pair of antique emerald green Bohemian glass and crystal lusters, with hand-painted design, Victoria period, circa late-19th century, 1880s, Europe, Czechoslovakia. Lusters begin with an emerald green glass form with petal or leaf design around top, trimmed in gold, with beautifully hand-painted flowers around top exterior in white, gold, blue and red. Below this area are the clear-cut crystals, a double layer of hanging cut crystals: medium and large. One luster is signed at base, on underside, as shown in image #9. A stunning set for a mantel, dining table, console table, cocktail table, etc. Pair are a nice size too, please take note. Dimensions: 7" Diameter x 14.19" Height.

- Condition:Repaired: - A very old 'staple' repair at base as shown in close-up image, last image. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. - Very Good condition as shown in images and video. - No chips to green glass noted. - One crystal missing (the shorter of the two sizes, which sits recessed) and one of the larger crystals, bottom tip broken off), all consistent with age and use.
