Pair of Antique Sevres Styled Porcelain & Ornate Gilt Bronze Garnitures
About the Item
This pair of antique garnitures are unsigne, but presumed to have originated from France and date to approximately 1875 and done in the Sevres style. The garnitures are done in porcelain with ornate gilt bronze finial, stylized figural swan handles and pedestal base. The fronts feature hand-painted vignettes of reclining females with cherubs and the backs with a floral bouquet motif. The garnitures are accented with enamel beaded decoration.
