Pair of patinated and gilt bronze garnitures, made in France during the Late 19th Century. Each piece portrays a monkey standing on a Rocaille-style base, accompanied by an eagle-like bird perched on his back, supporting a shell with its wings.

The urns and bowl are composed of patinated bronze with ormolu mounts which include neoclassical mask detail and rest on square marble plinths with ormolu bases.
